Fresh strawberries washed and sliced - add a bit of sugar. Then use either unflavored gelatin or strawberry gelatin which you make according to the directions.
You beat the egg whites and mix in the mashed strawberries and whipped cream. Add the cooled down gelatin and pour into a ready pie crust.
A regular pie crust is great to use, or try a graham cracker crust for variety. Crush the graham cracker and add a bit of melted butter - mix it up and pat it down in a pie plate.
The same can be done with vanilla wafers. Place in the refrigerator for a while to cool and thicken. For decoration squirt whipped cream around the edge and decorate the center with
sliced strawberries. A delicious dessert.
