How much sage do you use? Sage has many wonderful properties - I will focus on two
helpful benefits that sage contains for women that will help heal the body.
- Joint Aches, Improve Circulation
Sage's essential fatty acids and minerals are helpful for the suffering from aching joints. When
you receive minerals from herbs, deposits at the joints tend to dissolve. Sage has saponins
that grease the joints and ease inflammation.
Slowing the Aging Process
Sage supposedly can add years to your life - probably because it has healing properties.
It is an antiseptic to bacteria. It is filled with antioxidants that retard wrinkles and gray
hair; and it helps prevent cancer. Sage contains heart-healthy oils and it is abundant
with minerals.
Sage is easy to grow - it can be grown in a pot year around.
Dried sage or the leaves are used in many recipes - especially vegetable dishes, soups,
and meats. Make a cup of tea right now.
Do not overuse. The essential oils in the herb can accumulate in the kidney and liver.
Take a cup of tea, sprinkle on food and enjoy.
Dosage: 1-2 tsps. of dried leaf infusion 1-5X daily
15-40 drops of fresh leaf tincture, 1-3 times a week
