Prostatitis

Prostatitis is a benign inflammation of the prostate gland, often triggered by an infection. It
can be a difficult condition to treat because circulation is poor in the gland.  Antibiotics are
usually prescribed, but other things are healing as well.

-  Drink a lot of water to cleanse the system

-  Avoid alcohol, tobacco, and caffeine - they can be irritants

-  Avoid prolonged sitting in any activity

-  Relaxing in a warm waist-high sitz bath for 20 minutes a day.

A health tip on prostate cancer.  Preliminary research conducted by the Mayo Clinic
shows that a plant substance in green tea is a very powerful inhibitor of prostate cancer
cells.  Prostate cancer is less common in Asian males who drink more green tea.

It sure will not hurt and green tea is delicious.
