For the vegan this is a fabulous tasting recipe. the food processor or a grinder will help
to prepare this meal.
1 cup raw Brazil nuts
2/3 cup celery chunk
2/3 cup carrot chunks
2/3 cup onion chunks
1/2 cup parsley leaves chopped
1/2 green pepper chopped
1/3 cup sesame flour or sesame
1 1/2 tsp. whole cumin seed
A small handful of dill foliage
1 tsp. whole fennel seeds
1/4 tsp. salt
Freshly ground pepper to taste
Egg substitute: 1/3 cup water, 4 tsp. flax seeds
Combine the water and flax seed in a saucepan, Bring to a boil and then turn off
the heat and let them soak. It will be the consistency of egg white.
Preheat the oven to 375
Grind the nuts and transfer them to a large bowl. Grind the remaining ingredients
in a food processor. Add this mixture to the ground nuts.
Place the flax seed mixture to the rest of the ingredients. Toss and mix well.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment or oil it. Drop some scoops on the cookie
sheet and pat the mounds into flat patties.
Bake for about 40 minutes until crisp around the edges.
