Exercise for Busy People

No matter how busy you are, everyone can and should fit exercise into their lives. But many people wonder how they can do it and also get everything else done. The following are just a few tips to help busy people fit in exercise.

Walking is a great exercise that anyone can do with any amount of time. Although it is not possible for the majority of people to walk to work, you can do little things to fit this exercise in. For example, park your car as far away as possible, then fast walk to your office. Take the stairs instead of the elevator wherever you go. Walk to a co-worker's desk instead of emailing them or sending a memo. Also, take a quick power walk during your lunch break, even if it is for only 10 minutes.

Next, fit in some strength training exercises by taking a few moments to do some arm circles in both direction. Also, you can do simple squats by lowering yourself as if you are about to sit in a chair and then standing up. You can repeat that ten times, two times a day. You can do either knee or wall push ups. Knee push ups are where you start on the floor on your belly and push up with your hands under your shoulders. Wall push ups are where you stand in front of a wall with hands shoulder width apart, and bend your arms until your nose almost hits the wall. These exercises can be done in a few minutes at your desk or in front of the TV at night.
